Why brands make a pro smartphone?

So it started with Apple's iPhone when Apple launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 2014. Meaning when the iPhone 6 was launched, it was launched at the same price as the iPhone 5. But compared to the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus was slightly bigger and more advanced and its price was also higher than the iPhone 6.

Meaning Apple had made a series of its usual iPhones and was selling it at its own cost, but also made a plus version of it so that whoever wants to buy an iPhone can buy an iPhone 6, but if a user wants more features and Big phone then he can buy iPhone 6 Plus.

So all other companies did the same thing. Meaning the company makes a generic phone of its brand which is around the price of their old phone. But the phone which has more features or is a graded phone compared to last year's phone, then the company launches it with Pro or Plus version. And the Pro version is priced higher than the normal version.

So if the user has to upgrade the phone, then obviously he will buy the pro version of the phone only because the normal version has some changes.

Pro smartphone for existing user

Suppose, if you are currently using Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and you have to upgrade this phone in the future, you will not buy Galaxy Note 10 because you know that Galaxy Note 10 has minor changes from Note 9, So you only purchase Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

But if a user wants to buy a new phone, then he can buy the Galaxy Note 10, he will not have any problem because that phone will be completely new to him and he will never use the phone of that brand.
